Six-year-old Bridger Walker from Wyoming in the US needed 90 stitches after saving his sister from a dog attack.
"Bridger saved his little sister’s life by standing between her and a charging dog. After getting bit several times on the face and head, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran with her to keep her safe," Nikki Walker wrote in a now viral post about her nephew.

Knowing how much her nephew loves the Avengers, Walker reached out to some of the cast members via social media "so that they can learn about this latest addition to their ranks."
Touched by Bridger's story, Avengers stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey, Jr., Mark Ruffalo, and Tom Holland reached out to the little boy, sending messages and videos commending the young boy for his incredible bravery.
"People who put the well being of others in front of themselves are the most heroic and thoughtful people I know. I truly respect and admire your courage and your heart," Mark Ruffalo commented on Walker’s post.
"You're a hero, what you did was so brave," Chris Evans told the young boy in a video message.

During a call with Tom Holland, the little guy was so starstruck that it took him a minute to process getting an invitation to the set of the upcoming Spider-man 3.

In a recent post, Bridger's aunt shared how well her nephew was doing, thanking people for their well wishes.
"Bridger had his remaining stitches taken out and is acting more like himself every day. Like many of you, we’ve had a difficult year. This week has reminded us in a massive way that the goodness in humanity far outweighs the bad. If the love you have extended towards us were extended to all, the world would certainly be a brighter place."
