They’ve had a tumultuous romance, including a miscarriage, multiple break-ups and attempted suicide claims, but is it really over this time for actress Megan Fox and her rapper fiancé Machine Gun Kelly.
Things are reportedly so rocky between Megan (37) and Kelly (33) that they're living apart while working through their differences.
According to a source close to the pair, Megan has moved out and is living in Malibu, California, while the rapper, who was born Colson Baker, has remained in their Encino home.
“They did this arrangement to give each other some space while still being together,' the source told Us Weekly.
“They are at a low moment right now.”
The couple is said to have been at odds for some time due to the Transformer actress’ trust issues.
“Megan has a hard time trusting MGK and knows it’s her own insecurities”, the source adds.
Megan and Kelly met on the set of the crime thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020, a few weeks after she'd separated from her ex-husband Brian Austin Green (50), with whom she has three sons, Noah (11), Bodhi (9) and Journey (6).
Two years later the pair got engaged.
Another insider revealed to Us Weekly that Megan and Kelly “can’t stop fighting with each other", adding that their relationship is very “toxic”.
“Their love literally makes them sick,” they added.
These revelations surfaced a few hours after Megan appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast hosted by Alex Cooper, where she was reluctant to reveal her current relationship status with the Bloody Valentine artist.
“I don’t have a comment on like the status of the relationship. What I can say is, that he is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul’, and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what. I can't say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow," she said.
“Beyond that, I'm not willing to explain. But all those things you said [previously calling off the engagement and separating] were accurate things that have occurred, and I can see them being confusing or interesting to people."
Last year, Megan and Kelly sparked speculation that they'd broken up when Megan posted sexy images of herself dressed in a plunging black top and cut-out pants with a male friend on Instagram, captioning it: “You can taste the dishonesty, it’s all over your breath”.
Soon after, she removed all of Kelly’s images from her Instagram page, unfollowed him and deleted her account. The couple patched things up and were recently spotted together on holiday in Mexico.
But it's been a struggle, insiders say, and Megan is ready to move on.
She's reportedly ready for new love and has been asking friends to hook her up with eligible men.
But those who know her well doubt that her relationship with Kelly is really over.
“Friends around them don’t see them completely ending the relationship as they truly change their minds every day”, a source says.
