While hope abounds that the Sharks have turned the corner following a promising victory over highly rated Ulster last week, franchise and Springbok legend John Smit still needs more convincing that the team won't continue to flatter to deceive.

The 45-year-old World Cup-winning skipper believes John Plumtree's troops have been performing like a luxury car missing several crucial components, very obviously referring to an assembled squad teeming with star power but nothing tangible to show.
