News24's month-long On The Road national elections tour has come to an end. Countless on and off the record conversations were had. Some along dodgy train tracks, overlooking heaps of rubbish near the border of Eswatini and South Africa. Throughout all the conversations, one prevailing theme emerged: South Africans demonstrate unwavering commitment to their villages, towns, cities, and country, writes Siyamtanda Capa.
When it rains, it pours - this adage comes to life in Komani every time a cloud bursts, unleashing flash floods that mercilessly batter shacks, leaving a trail of havoc in its wake.
