We cannot prescribe the best way for people to resist oppression. We couldn't do that under apartheid in South Africa, and we cannot do that now in Gaza, writes Qaanitah Hunter.

I've had recurring thoughts since the news of the escalating violence in Palestine and Israel over the weekend.

I have been thinking about South Africa's fight against apartheid and, more significantly, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.
