When Michelle van Ster found out she had stage 2 cancer, she chose not to tell her children because they were in the process of writing final exams.
She confided in her husband and began treatment while continuing with life as usual.
Michelle recently completed her 21-day radiation treatment, which came with side effects that had started to take a toll on her.
