Sasol invites Grade 12 pupils to apply for an all-inclusive bursary for the 2023 academic year.
As voted for by graduates in the SAGEA employer of choice survey, the chemical and energy company is looking for high-performing mathematics and science pupils currently in Grade 12.
Sasol will fund 275 bursars who wish to study towards a B Eng or BSc Eng in various engineering disciplines, BSc in Chemistry or pupils interested in Mining Survey at a university of technology.
Applicants need to obtain 70% for Maths, 70% for Science, and 60% for English to be considered for an undergraduate bursary.
Postgraduates or undergraduates completing a degree in Science or chemical engineering who wish to study towards a Master’s or Doctorate are also encouraged to apply.

The bursary covers tuition fees, accommodation, meals, textbooks and pocket money. On top of that, bursary beneficiaries receive allowances for study tools such as laptops and calculators.
Sasol also offers psycho-social support to their bursary holders to enable them to complete their academic studies successfully.
When they complete their studies, the bursary holders also have the opportunity to do paid vacation work and be part of the Sasol Development Programmes.
