BULLETS flew as a gang of heavily armed tsotsis hit the Mhala Total filling station in Thulamahashe, Mpumalanga, on Saturday, 13 April.

One of the eight tsotsis is currently fighting for his life in hospital after he was shot during a shoot-out with the police.

The tsotsi was cornered and stoned by angry patrons from a nearby tavern who responded quickly to the scene after they heard gunshots and explosions. Police came to his rescue and arrested him, as the patrons were after his blood.
