When I first saw the trailer for an upcoming Netflix special called “Kevin Hart & Chris Rock: Headliners Only”, I was not as excited as one would expect of a dyed-in-the-wool fan of American stand-up comedy.  

This is mainly because I was highly disappointed by Rock’s last Netflix special Selective Outrage, which came out in early 2023.

He was trying too hard and was not funny at all as he “fought back” against Will Smith, who’d bitch-slapped him in front of the world at that ill-fated Oscars ceremony.
