Pregnancy is a beautiful thing, and for actress Samkelo Ndlovu it was an extremely special experience.
The mom of one recently shared a video on Instagram of her then-unborn daughter dancing to classical music while in her womb.
Samkelo put headphones on her growing belly and recorded as the beautiful moment took place.
“It was quite enchanting to see her being stimulated by the music like that. I loved bonding with her in that way,” Samkelo told DRUM.
Speaking about her first pregnancy, the 28-year-old admitted it all went by very fast.
“The experience was special. What surprised me is how fast it went by until the last two weeks, which ended up feeling like 12 weeks. I literally blinked and I was in my last trimester,” she said.
She also added that she – unlike many other mothers – didn’t experience cravings. “I didn’t have any cravings but my partner took on my cravings and some of my other symptoms such as morning sickness.
“I asked the doctor and it’s apparently normal and is called ‘sympathy symptoms’. I just took advantage of eating what I like, being the clean eater I am,” she explained.
Her daughter is now just over a month old.
“Motherhood has been quite a fulfilling special road so far,” Samkelo said. “I’m so in love with her and would not trade this for anything in the world.”
