The 2020 school year has kicked off, and for some little ones it's their first time at 'big school'.

Since the early hours of opening day yesterday, 15 January, the hashtag #Bundleofjoy has been trending, as proud parents and relatives shared pictures of their kids online - creating an increase in traffic on social media and on our roads.

If you told me 10 years ago that by the year 2020 I'll have a kid in grade 1, I probably would have believed you ?????? (kids were always a part of my plan) ?????????????????????? This girl has been looking forward to this day since her Grade R graduation and to say it went great would be an understatement ?? ?????????????????????? She's got a wonderful teacher (they hit it off right away) and she already made friends yesterday during orientation. I thought I was going to be a nervous mess but I'm actually quite chilled about this whole situation - probably because she's also so relaxed ?????? ??????????????????????
