First day of school? Be careful what you post online

As schools re-open today, and adorable #firstdayofschool pics flood social media, Social Media Law Specialist Emma Sadlier reminds parents to be careful what they post online. 

As tempting as it is to share your special moments, the information that is revealed in a pic posted publicly could put your child at risk.

Here she shares her top tips to protect you and your family:

Sadlier warns against sharing identifying information such as names, locations and pictures of other children.

One parent commented on Sadlier's Twitter post, saying that "Its very sad that these are the precautions we need to take..." while another posted that it's better not to post any pics at all.
