Moms, looking for some downtime? Life hack: Poop like a man

"Baby starts screaming? Well, I’m pooping and certainly can’t help right now. See you in 20.”

When you’ve got a family to take care of, a house to clean and several other errands to run in between, there’s very little time for you to live for you – and only you. You eat, sleep and breathe, and that’s it, because you’re so busy focusing on everyone else’s wellbeing.

But it’s important to take time for yourself too – even if it’s just 20 mins or so. You deserve a break. Finding alone time to take that break though, well, that’s easier said than done.

One Reddit user shared a simple mom hack, and if you have a partner who proves this to be true, it’s pretty funny too…

Life hack: poop like a man from r/breakingmom
“Need 20 minutes to yourself? Ever asked your husband for 20 minutes alone and have him look at you like you’ve asked to borrow $6,000 to go on a vacation alone for 6 months?
Don’t say anything, just go into the bathroom, audibly light a candle, and enjoy the next 20 minutes of your life.
Baby starts screaming? Well, I’m pooping and certainly can’t help right now. See you in 20.”

And just like that, 20 minutes of uninterrupted you-time, with the added bonus of "dropping the kids off at the pool".
