Carol Ofori talks to Parent24 about hosting SABC's Raising Babies 101

SABC's 'Raising Babies 101' delivers on it's promise to guide parents through the early days of their parenting journey. 

The show connects viewers with experts from different fields, and ordinary parents just like you share their experiences of parenting on the popular series.

‘Raising Babies 101’ has reached and educated many parents already, and season two is off to a good start. After a successful debut season, the series is back for an exciting second season which promises to be bigger and better than before.

This season premiered on Monday 6 July at 9:00 on SABC 2. The show will be expanding to three episodes a week, which will give its viewers even more depth and knowledge than ever before.

And viewers are glad to see that seasoned radio presenter and television host Carol Ofori has returned to host this second season.

With her bubbly approach to life, and being a mother herself, Carol says she is excited to bring her knowledge and experience back to the ‘Raising Babies’ platform.

We chatted to her to find out more about the mom behind the camera. 

Parent24: How do you feel about hosting this season?

Carol Ofori: I am over the moon that the second season of ‘Raising Babies 101’ is here. This season is going to be even more exciting for me, now that I have welcomed my baby girl into the world.

During the first season, I was a mother to one and now, being a mom of two, a whole new dynamic presents itself for me as both a mom and presenter and I am excited to share this experience with the viewers at home.

I am looking forward to imparting my knowledge and learning a few more new tricks along the way as well.

Parent24: What should the viewers expect on this new season of Raising Babies 101?

Carol Ofori: We have worked hard this season to bring you exceptional content, and I can’t wait to create some interesting conversations in the weeks and months to come.

Parent24: What is your goal with Raising Babies 101, where do you want to see the show go for people watching at home?

Carol Ofori: I just want to see parents and caregivers learn new ways to parent and learn more about the challenges children face.

The show exposes great ideas, and it’s up to you to implement whatever you learn, in a way that suits you and your kids. No one way is the best way to parent.

Carol also told Parent24 that the second season of ‘Raising Babies’ will be full of surprises and promises viewers the best tips and tricks to help navigate the often-daunting task of raising babies.
