It seems that these local parents have managed to keep their sense of humour intact throughout the tense period of lockdown, pulling off an epic prank on their kids for April Fool's Day.
"We got a mail from the school. All the Grade 6s and all the Grade 3s need to go to school at 9.30," the mom tells her young son as she wakes him up.

- WATCH: This girl cried because she can no longer have takeaways due to the lockdown and we can relate
Keeping the prank legit, the mom tells her son that classes would only be made up of 2 or 3 pupils at a time as a safety measure.
And the parents did not stop there.
As the recording proceeds, we see the entire family (dad and sister included) going through a whole morning routine, uniforms on, breakfast on the table.
It's only as the family 'made for school' that the parents yelled: "April Fools!"
To say that their kids were unimpressed is an understatement.
