Rumanah Ganie, now reporting on Covid-19 for Grade 2 News.
The youngster traveled the world, virtually, to report on how children are being affected by the global Covid-19 pandemic, and she delivers the goods in this adorable, and insightful, video.
Mom Shakerah Ganie told us "It was quite a directing feat for us and a 7-year-old with sass!"
The video was created as part of Rumanah's school Covid-19 report, she explained.
"The teacher asked them all to prepare something for when school re-opens. Most kids had submitted factually heavy articles that I felt my little one didn't really connect with, so we came up with creating the video as a reporter."
"And naturally asking her peer's questions that would be age-appropriate and relevant to them was our best option," Shakerah told Parent24.
"We sent out the video to family and friends and they each sent back a reply which our tech-savvy son edited for us. I suppose lockdown has us exploring a lot of new talents!"
She assured us that all the kids loved having their say and being a part of something from their own little spaces across the country and across the world.
