A doting dad has spent two days carving his sons’ faces into a pumpkin – and the results are amazing.

Dylan Morris (39), from Pwllheli in Wales, loves nothing more than getting creative with a pumpkin at Halloween.

The dad-of-three was asked by his sons, Tomos (12) and Aron (8), to carve their faces into a pumpkin and he accepted the challenge.

Using just a torch for lighting and a carving knife to create his masterpiece, Dylan spent two days ensuring every feature on his sons’ faces were captured.

The IT manager says the boys were left amazed by the double-sided pumpkin, making the effort worthwhile.

"It did take days to finish but it was worth it to see their shocked little faces.

"I didn't show anyone until the pumpkin was finished and even my wife, Sera, was amazed by it. I let the kids choose what they like every year and this was definitely their favourite."

He added that he didn't expect so many people to start commenting on his photo.

"I just make the pumpkins as a hobby at Halloween and the kids love them so much they don't even bother making their own most years.

"My youngest child Cari (6) also puts her pumpkin requests forward each year. I have recreated my own pumpkin versions of Spiderman, Minions, Frozen and Twilight characters.

"I love creating them even though I'm always so busy as it's something they'll look back and remember when they're older," Dylan said.
