It's been 6 years since Eva Longoria graced television screens as desperate housewife Gabrielle Solis but that doesn't mean the actress hasn't been busy.

In addition to lesser-known television roles, she's also worked behind the camera as an executive producer, and on the personal front, tied the knot with businessman, José "Pepe" Bastón.

This past June, at 43, Eva welcomed her proudest creation yet, baby boy Santiago Enrique.

"Hello world! I introduce to you Santiago Enrique Bastón. Thank you everyone for showering my baby boy with all your warm wishes!" She captioned this stunning first image of her cutie.

And since he's had 4 children of his own, hubby José is just the right man to help the first- time mom take on her new role.

Not that she's needed much help with getting into things, it's clear she's smitten with being a mom to her gorgeous little guy.

"It's funny because everyone tells you: 'It's going to be amazing, wait!' And then it happens and you understand what everyone's talking about. But you can't really understand it until you experience it," she shared in an interview with HELLO! Magazine

At nearly four months, it's safe to say the baby boy has inherited his mom's good looks, and Eva hasn't wasted a minute of all that cuteness, sharing every precious moment of her tiny son's first few months via social media.

Not bad for a woman who wasn't sure she would ever be a parent.

"When Pepe and I met we didn't really talk about children; we just fell in love, so it was never this topic that was discussed. We said: 'If it happens, it happens. If God blesses us, then that's great.' And that's what happened. First, we fell madly in love and then came this product of that love," she said.

Just like most first time moms, Eva has admitted to being anxious about returning to work after maternity leave.

"My son will be two and a half months old and I can't even think about it right now, I enjoy our routine and our days together. People tell me: 'Get ready to be tired,' but I'm not. I actually miss him when he's sleeping, so I’m like: 'Ugh. Hurry up and wake up, so I can play with you and stare at you and kiss you and cuddle you, bite, hug you!' So the thought of going back to work… I get anxiety thinking about it. I can be with him on set but it's not the same. It's funny, people used to say: 'How do you do it all?' And I'd say: 'I don't have children.' I could direct, I could go to Paris, go do an endorsement in China. Now everything is different because he’s here but different in the best way possible."
