Isn't Chrissy Teigen the best best friend ever? After making a brief appearance on Access Hollywood, the model and author made quite a bold statement - she would be Kim Kardashian's surrogate in a heartbeat!
The model and cookbook author spoke about how incredible it is for Janet Jackson (50) to be pregnant and that science is absolutely miraculous. Chrissy also went through in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) to have her baby girl, Luna.
In an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim looks at her options for having another baby.
Only problem is she doesn't really enjoy pregnancy like many other women, including Chrissy. In her first pregnancy, Kim revealed she suffered with preeclampsia and placenta accreta.
She was also at risk of developing gestational diabetes in her second pregnancy, coupled with the possibility that she may experience the same problems from her first pregnancy as well.
In the episode, Kim and her mother, Kris, visit a fertility specialist who tells Kim she may experience the same problems, but only worse - it's essentially become a life or death situation.
Kris drives the reality home by bluntly saying her daughter could bleed to death.
The reality TV star has mentioned Kanye has been speaking about having more children and she would like to have another baby because she knows how important siblings are because she has so many.
Kim has two sisters, Khloe and Kourtney, two half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie, and a brother, Rob.
Kim has seen two fertility specialists - one with her sister Kourtney and the other with her mom Kris.
Being ambivalent to surrogacy, Kourtney advised that Kim speak to someone who has gone through the process of surrogacy to learn more about the process and the emotions that go along with it.
